Jammu , September 25:

In a message to the world about the necessity to unitedly fight terrorism and the proxy wars unleashed by the countries as political tool , Prime. Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday took to task all such nations trying to disturb the world order as he also reminded the United Nations to understand and shoulder its responsibilities in this regard.
Without mincing words , Prime Minister while speaking at the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly said that the developments in Afghanistan should wake up the world to the reality how “ terrorism is being used as political tool.” He said that the evil of terrorism should be united fought and he said that it should be ensured that the “ soil of Afghanistan is not used for export of terrorism elsewhere,” and added a note of extreme caution for the countries that “ those ( an obvious reference to Pakistan that has been called as hub of terrorism by the international community), supporting terrorism should know that they, too, can become a victim of terrorism”.
Prime Minister put Pakistan on notice that has been seeking the international recognition of the Taliban-ruled Afghanistan , and at the same time claiming that it is in negotiations with the extremist Islamic fundamentalist group in seeking a guarantee that the soil of Afghanistan was not used for the terror activities for other countries.
Modi ,without giving the details about the duplicity of Pakistan in Afghanistan and how it had launched proxy war in Jammu and Kashmir , said that the time demands that Afghanistan should be made a stable place , and the onus lies on the powerful and developed countries. By calling for the safety and rights of the “ women , children and the minorities in Afghanistan ,” Prime Minister made it clear that the situation in the country where Pakistan is trying to use terrorism as political tool is unacceptable and the world must recognize the dangers that it poses to other nations.
Prime Minister also declared that India has developed DNA vaccine and also told the world that there is no time to adopt a laid-back approach. There should be action on the climate change and said that India, the mother of democracy , is marching ahead in saving the environment .
He asked the United Nations to undertake the reforms which are overdue if it has to maintain its relevance in the current world.
