The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today paid tributes to Sardar Rafiq Hussain Khan, former minster and former MLA Mendhar on his first death anniversary.


Khan, a senior Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader, served as a minister twice in his political carrier after his LLB degree from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).


They observed two minutes silence and prayed to Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.


“Khan Sahab was a renowned political personality across Pir Panchal. He was the tallest leader in the Pirpanjal region who worked tirelessly without any bias for the people,” they said, adding that he was a thorough gentleman, an astute politician and down to earth personality who always raised his voice for the underprivileged sections of the society. His contribution towards people, party and social causes have been enormous, they added.
