Mumbai, February 15:
One person died and a few others were injured as an explosion occurred at an allegedly illegal cracker unit in Tamil Nadu’s Madurai. The incident took place on Tuesday, February 15.
The accident took place in an alleged illegal unit owned by a man named Pravin. The manufacturing unit is said to have been running without permission.
The explosion occurred on the rooftop of a residential building, and this led to a few others also getting injured. All the injured people are now being treated at the Madurai government hospital.
Police are investigating and more details are awaited.
