Srinagar, May 18 Dr S D Singh Jamwal , Additional DGP, Security, J&K on Wednesday held a briefing s session on soft skills of security ahead of the G20 meet beginning in Srinagar from May 22 , highlighting the importance of these skills to make the security and safety perfect .
The soft skill, like communication , team work, analytical thinking , attention to detail and responsibility of each and every officer and personnel involved in putting a perfect security system in place , Dr Jamwal said were very critical to the security. These hold extraordinary importance especially during the events like G20.
Dr Jamwal detailed all the necessary measures for the security. There are seve4ral layers of security – visible , and some not so visible .

J&K hold a briefing session ahead of G20 event at Central Pool Kashmir on Wednesday .
“The objective of the meeting was to enhance the knowledge of the field officers in the implementation of security-related protocols in organizing mega event at Srinagar UT of J&K, including the protection of VVIPs, and also to train them to extend proper protocol to the delegates from different nationalities attending this high profile event.,” according to an official release of J&K police .
During his address, ADGP called upon the officers to conduct themselves in a very professional and courteous manner with the guests attending the event, so that they return to their respective countries with fond memories and also having unforgettable impression of the hospitality of people of Kashmir, for which the locals are known all over the world.
Soft skills of security form a very crucial part of not only the security , but also in presenting a true image of the place and the people – their culture of extending all courtesies even when they are performing the security job.
