Doda, May 8: The district administration Doda today ordered closure of all schools in the district due to incessant rainfall in the region.
On the directions of DC Doda Vishesh Pal Mahajan, chief education officer Doda this morning ordered closure of schools and directed all heads of government and private schools to follow the orders.
However, the order said that in case of any examination, that will go as per the schedule.
Since last night heavy rains have lashed Chenab valley and upper reaches have witnessed light snowfall as well. This has led to surface road transport disturbance and vulnerable roads have already been closed.
