Srinagar, March 8 It is certain that founding president of Apni Party will be elected for the post for a second time as no other party leader has filed nomination papers for the post of party president.
Today was the last date for the filing of nominations.
The party cadre and leaders decided unanimously that Altaf Bukhari is the best choice to serve second term at this crucial juncture when the people in J&K were passing through difficult times .
Though everything is in order as per the nomination papers, but final announcement for his election as president for the second term will be made on March 11.
This will give sense of continuity and also push the process to fulfill three- point agenda of the party- restoration of statehood, early Assembly polls , and women empowerment in real sense.
