Srinagar, May 6: Apni Party leaders have extended their condolences over the passing of Syed Ghulam Jeelani from Reshi Bazar, Anantnag. The deceased, a prominent social personality and noted businessman, was the uncle-in-law of the party president, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari. He passed away this morning after a brief illness. His funeral prayers were attended by a large number of people from across the town and beyond. He was laid to rest at the revered shrine of Baba Hyder Reshi, popularly known as Resh Moul Sahib, in Anantnag.

According to a press release issued here, Apni Party leaders have extended their sympathies to the bereaved family members of Syed Ghulam Jeelani and expressed solidarity with them during this time of grief. They have also extended condolences to the party president, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
