Jammu, May 31: Indian Army has once again defeated the nefarious designs of Pakistani Army by foiling an infiltration bid and apprehending three intruders in Gulpur area along Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector of Jammu division.
One of the three infiltrators was arrested in injured condition.
Giving details, an Army official said that after noticing movement near the LoC, army fired upon the infiltrators, which resulted in injury to one infiltrator and all three of them were arrested. “During the checking, Army recovered huge consignment of narcotics, arms and ammunition from their possession, which included one AK series rifle and two pistols with bullets,” said an official.
Earlier, a massive combing operation was launched on Line of Control in Gulpur area of Poonch after the army noticed a suspicious movement after which an exchange of fire took place.
