Srinagar, September 19:
The Indian army has launched intense search operations along the LoC in Uri sector after detection of suspicious movement along the border line that divides Jammu and Kashmir between India and Pakistan.
Of late, Pakistan has started sending infiltrators to this side of the LoC but most of these bids were foiled by alert jawans guarding the borderline that passes through high mountainous passes, ravines and jungles.
A spokesperson of the defence ministry said in a brief statement in Srinagar on Sunday that on the
intervening night of 18/ 19 Sep 2021, suspicious movement was detected along the LoC in Uri Sector. Search of the area is under progress.
