Akhnoor, April 26: Indian Army and Borderless World Foundation (BWF) jointly organised a medical camp for the people of remote villages in Sunderbani Tehsil of Rajouri district.

The two-day camp will continue tomorrow on April 27 as well.

Giving details, PRO Defence said that Army and Borderless World Foundation (BWF) – a non-profit, NGO working in Jammu and Kashmir in border regions, are teaming up with Block Medical Officials of Pallanwala Block to bring specialist medical care to the people of these far flung villages located very close to the Line of Control.

People from over 18 villages were benefitted on the first day of the camp seeking medical care from nine volunteer specialist doctors of BWF and also two doctors from the Health and Medical Education Department of J&K.

They were also provided with free medicines during the camp.

The Medical Camp saw overwhelming response from locals and was appreciated by one and all.
