Jammu, Oct. 30: The Airports Authority of India (AAI), Jammu Airport, organized an Aviation Career Guidance Programme through online mode for the students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Jammu Cantt, Satwari.
The programme was conducted under the initiative of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, under the guidance of Sh. Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, Hon’ble Minister of Civil Aviation, and Sh. Muralidhar Mohol, Hon’ble Minister of State for Civil Aviation. The initiative aims to create awareness among students about the vast range of career opportunities available in India’s rapidly growing aviation sector.
The event introduced students to various professional avenues such as airline operations, air traffic management, flying training, aircraft maintenance, drone operations, and allied services including cargo, security, and catering. Students were also briefed on the tremendous growth of India’s aviation industry and the Government’s efforts to make the country self-reliant in training capacity and professional manpower.
Airport Director, Sh. Devender Yadav, appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the students and the positive support of the school management, particularly Principal Mrs. Vandhana Gupta, for encouraging students to take part in the programme for their overall welfare and future development.
