Samba police foiled a bovine smuggling bid and rescued 10 animals at Ghagwal area on Jammu-Kathua National Highway.
Police said that on information that some people were carrying bovines in a vehicle from Samba towards Kashmir, a truck was stopped for checking and found bovines loaded in it.
All the 10 bovines were rescued at Ghagwal in Samba district and accused have been arrested.
