Following a political storm in Jammu and Kashmir that an order of Deputy Commissioner triggered as it made all those residing in Jammu district for one year eligible to get registered as voters in Jammu and Kashmir.
A late Wednesday evening report said that the deputy commissioner has withdrawn the order.
Early this morning when DC Jammu’s order became public , all non- BJP parties reacted strongly and said this appeared to be part of design to cause social, political and cultural underestimation of the natives.
