Srinagar, November 20: A delegation from the Mechanical Irrigation Department’s Seasonal Labour Association on Thursday called on Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari to apprise him of the issues that seasonal labours in the department have been facing for a long time, and which have yet to receive the attention of the concerned authorities.
The delegation members informed Mr. Bukhari that the affected labours and their families are suffering because the government has not paid attention to their issues, leaving them to endure ongoing injustice.
On this occasion, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari gave a patient hearing to the visiting delegation and assured them that he would bring their issues to the notice of the authorities and would try to ensure that these matters are addressed without any further delay.
The delegation was led by the president of the association, Riyaz Ahmad, along with Vice President Nazir Ahmad Raina; District President Bandipora, Showkat Ahmad Khan; Bilal Ahmad; District President Bandipora, Hilal Ahmad; and others.
