Srinagar, June 27: In a significant step to provide much needed succor to the families of the Police personnel who passed away while serving the people, the Director General of Police J&K Shri R.R.Swain has issued compassionate appointment orders in favour of next of kin of 36 such personnel.
This compassionate initiative aims to provide support to the families of police Pariwar.
The appointees include 23 constables and 13 followers, who have been given the opportunity to serve in the police force.

The DGP J&K Sh. R.R Swain has congratulated the appointees and their families.

In his message the DGP J&K has said that this gesture not only acknowledges the services rendered by our former colleagues but also ensures that their families are taken care of.

The issuance of these appointment orders is a small token of J&K Police’s care towards their families. It is the responsibility of J&K Police department to support them and ensure that the legacy of our former colleagues particularly the martyrs is taken care of and well protected.

The DGP in his message also emphasized the importance of this initiative in strengthening the bond between the families of the police force. He assured that the department would continue to take steps to support and uplift the families of those who have given their lives for the the people and the department.
