Jammu, March 15: Five CRPF personnel were injured when their vehicle was hit by a truck on Jammu-Srinagar national highway at Mand near Udhampur.
All the five injured personnel were shifted to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi-Narayana super speciality hospital near Katra.
Giving details, police said that a truck bearing registration number PB06B7355 hit a CRPF vehicle. The truck was being driven fast and the driver lost the control and hit the CRPF vehicle.
During the accident ASI Brij Lal, SGd Ashok kumar, ASI Govind Raj, ASI S Silver Raj and ASI Romesh were injured.
In this connection FIR No.62/2023 U/S 279/337 IPC regd and Investigation of the case is going on..
