Jammu, February 23: There is good news for budding entrepreneurs and students interested in fresh start-ups as Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development (CIED) of Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) will provide them financial and technical support.
In this regard, CIED has invited innovative proposals from these budding entrepreneurs and students of Jammu and Kashmir.
The proposals are related to products, processes and services for the establishment of innovative entrepreneurial business ventures for the financial year 2023-24.
This is the second such proposal being invited by CIED and last year also they had invited proposals from entrepreneurs and students and got good response.
Giving details, officials of IUST told JK News Today that a team of academic and industrial professionals will appraise these proposals and CIED will provide support of Rs 5 lakh to each selected start-ups.
“The potential start-ups will be mentored by a team of experts for development of prototype, patent filing, incubation process and commercialisation,” the officials added.
