Jammu, May 20: Intelligence Bureau (IB) Director Tapan Kumar Deka has got a one-year extension till June 2026, according to a Personnel Ministry order released on Tuesday.
Deka, a 1988 batch Himachal Pradesh cadre IPS officer, was initially appointed Director of Intelligence Bureau for a tenure of two years with effect from June 2022. He previously got a one-year extension in 2024.
