Apni Paty gets a boost as a large group of women from Srinagar’s Lal Chowk constituency joins the party

Apni Party Women’s Wing on Thursday witnessed a huge joining from Lal Chowk constituency in an event organized at the party headquarter in Srinagar. The Provincial President
(Kashmir) for the Women’s Wing Dilshada Shaheen presided over the joining ceremony.
According to a statement issued here, Dilshada Shaheen while welcoming the new entrants into Apni Party’s fold said, “I wholeheartedly welcome you into Apni Party. I am sure you all will positively contribute to strengthening the party at the grassroot level.”
She assured the new entrants that the party leadership will stand by them when they are out there to serve the people in their respective areas.
She said, “Apni Party is working to ensure social, economic, educational, and political empowerment of women. It is inspiring to see women’s participation in politics in Kashmir. The trend indicates that womenfolk have started to stand for their constitutional rights.” She added.
The new entrants who joined the party fold included, Ronak Aijaz, Najma, Mehmooda ,Raja, Haleema, Akther Bibi, Gulzara, Mehnaza Begum, Shakeela, Shameema, Aisha Shabir, Rubeena, and others.
