A tribal gang which strucked last year in Bishnah , attacked family members and fled away with their gold ornaments is being caught by Bishnah Police station in Jammu.
A case FIR no 147/2020 US 458-395/307/147/148 IPC was registered at Police Station Bishnah after a complainant Sunita Devi W/O Ashwani Kumar R/O Palli Chak Jaralan, Bishnah stated that on the intervening night of 04/05-09-2019 at about 0100 hrs heard some sound of thundering ,when she woke up she saw some unknown persons forcefully entering into her house who had sticks in their hands and had beaten family members mercilessly with the intention to kill them and looted gold ornaments and cash.
After commission of offence all dacoits fled away from the spot. In this incidence subsequently case was registered.
During the course of investigation many suspects were rounded up but no fruit full clue was made out.
A special team under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura , Shabir Khan led by SHO Bishanh Tahir Yousaf continued with the investigation technically.After minutely accessing the modous operendi of the gang investigation team Zeroed in on Shahrukh Khan S/O Jamal Din R/O Pilani Distt. Jhunjnunu, Rajasthan , Mohabat S/O Jamal Din R/O Pilani Distt. Jhunjnunu, Rajasthan , Sawan S/O Muslim R/O Pilani Distt. Jhunjnunu, Rajasthan , Rehmaan S/O Rafi R/O Chadwa Distt. Jhunjnunu, Rajasthan and arrested them from Punjab. The gang members are tribals from Rajasthan.
During the course of interrogation, accused persons disclosed the name of one accomplice ,Aslam @ Nosoo S/O Nain Hussain a resident of Rajasthan who is also the gang leader. After the arrest of Aslam from Punjab and when put to sustained interogation accussed Aslam confessed their involvement in the theft and on his discloser gold worth 4 lacs rupees was recovered.
The whole operation was conducted under the supervision of SP Hqr Jammu Aadil Hamid and under the overall supervision of SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
Bishnah Police is also looking for some more thefts conducted by this gang.
