Srinagar, October 13: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has recommended revocation of the Central rule from Jammu and Kashmir after National Conference vice president Omar Abdullah staked claim to form the government on Saturday with letters of support of the parties backing his claim.
In true democratic traditions , LG Manoj Sinha soon after receiving the claim to form the government by Omar Abdullah, initiated the process of lifting of the Central rule in Jammu and Kashmir . He has recommended to President of India Droupadi Murmu that after the successful Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and with a claim to form the government has landed in Raj Bhavan, it’s imperative to lift the Central rule in the Union Territory . With this the process of lifting over six-year-long Central rule has begun in right earnest.
The process is likely to get it completed in a couple of days, the oath ceremony of the new chief minister and government in all likelihood will be held on Wednesday0- October 16
Meanwhile National Conference leadership has started finalizing the list of ministers to eb sworn-in . The names of Sakina Ittoo, Tanvir Sadiq , Mubarak Gul, Abdul Rahim Rather, Saifullah Mir and from Congress side that of G A Mir are doing rounds .
