Srinagar, October 21: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday resigned from Budgam Assembly seat while retaining Ganderbal seat.
Omar had contested two seats of Ganderbal and Budgam and won on both of them in the Assembly elections.
This was announced by Pro tem speaker Mubarak Gul on Monday afternoon while administering oath to the newly elected MLAs
