Kulgam, April 9: In yet another accident, one person died and two other got injured in Kulgam district of south Kashmir last evening.
The accident occured in Khur Batpora area in Kulgam district.
An official said that the accident took place Saturday evening when a speedy vehicle hit a motorcycle in Khur Batpora, resulting in injuries to 3 persons.
He said all injured were shifted to district hospital Kulgam where from two of them were referred to SKIMS Soura. “Later one among them succumbed to his injuries.”
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Rafiq Malik son of Abdul Rashid Malik, while injured have been identified as Bashir Ahmad son of Abdul Ganie and Mushtaq Ahmad Malik son of Ghulam Qadir Malik—all residents of Khur Batpora.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the inciden.
