Srinagar, May 10:
The UT administration on Monday released senior PDP leader and former minister Naeem Akhtar after nearly five months of detention.
He has been shifted to his residence in Srinagar , where he will be under house detention.
There had been persistent demand by political parties and leaders urging the government to release the political leaders.
