Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday welcomed investment coming in various economically- enriching sectors from United Arab Emirates to hitherto investment starved Jammu and Kashmir.
PM recalled the successful visit of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to UAE from where he sought and succeeded in getting huge investment in critical sectors of healthcare, logistics and hospitality and lauded his efforts.
It was due to persistent efforts of LG Manoj Sinha that leading companies of the UAE signed memorandums of understanding with J&K government to invest in the Union Territory which apart from enriching economy would open up huge employment opportunities.
Prime Minister in a tweet noted the interest of the UAE companies and efforts of LG Sinha with a pointed appreciation as these would-be economic activities fit in his dream of turning J&K into an investment hub.
