The sensitization programme on the significance and need of cleanliness and sanitation was organized by Students Welfare Committee of Govt. P.G College for Women, Gandhi Nagar as a part of ongoing Swachhta Pakwada.
During this period seminars, group discussions, essay writing competitions on the theme of “Cleanliness and Hygiene” in our life and surroundings was organized. On this occasion the students and employees also took pledge to keep their surroundings clean.
A nukkad natak was performed by the students of the college to spread awareness on the virtues of sanitation and cleanliness. Banners on the importance of Swachhta were displayed in the entire college for maximum awareness. Dr. Kiran Bakshi, Principal of the College emphasized the need of cleanliness in our day to day life.
