Jammu, October 7
National Conference Students Union (NCSU) today submitted Memorandum to the Vice Chancellor of Jammu University regarding various issues being faced by the student community.
A delegation comprising of Saahil Singh Jamwal, NCSU Senior Vice-president Jammu province, Vikas Pandita, NCSU President Jammu District, Vikas Badhoria, NCSU Vice-president Jammu University . of students under the banner of NCSU went to meet the Vice Chancellor of JU.
The Memorandum submitted to the V.C Jammu University consisted of following points:
1.Making of University campus as fully wifi.
2. Cleanliness and Sanitization of campus.
3. Hoisting National Flag at the top of each department.
4. Issuance of Smart Card in place of regular folding identity cards.
5. Organising Blood Donation Camp every three months.
“All other Universities across India are having wi-fi facility for the students but unfortunately our university students are deprived of it and is badly affecting the research of the students which is based on internet these days”, said Saahil Jamwal.
Vikas Pandita discussed the issue of cleanliness and sanitation in the campus area.
“Few days before when NAAC team came to inspect the university, machinery fully geared up to make the campus clean. All the workers were kept engaged in cleaning the campus but soon after the condition has come back to its original place. No attention is being paid towards cleanliness and sanitization.”, said Vikas Pandita.
Memorandum demanded the National tricolor to be hoisted at the top of each department.
It also demanded the issuance of smart cards to the students in place of folding cards.
The delegation that went to meet the VC demanded to organise the Blood donation Camp every three months in the university campus so that it would become convenient for the donors and will give a strong and motivating message to the students who are unaware of blood donation.
