JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 24, 2026: Professor Umesh Rai, Vice Chancellor of the University of Jammu, today officially released Vol. XXII, No. 1 (2026) of ‘Researcher: A Multidisciplinary Journal’. The publication is brought out by the University of Jammu through its dedicated Publication Cell.Researcher is a bi-annual, multidisciplinary, and double-blind peer-reviewed journal. It is designed to provide a specialized academic platform and an authoritative reference for the dissemination of high-quality research across broad fields, including Science and Technology, Social Sciences, Business Studies, and Humanities.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Professor Umesh Rai commended the Publication Cell, under the convenership of Prof. Shashi Prabha, for ensuring the timely publication of the journal’s consecutive issues.Prof. Neelu Rohmetra, Chairperson of the Press & Publications Cell at the University of Jammu (UoJ), also shared the recent initiatives undertaken by the cell to enhance the global outreach, digital footprint, and visibility of the university’s research journal.
The current edition features a total of twelve peer-reviewed papers spanning various disciplines wherein The current edition features twelve papers,one paper published under the Science &Technology and five in Social Sciences section,one papers under the section of Business Studies, and the Arts &Humanities section has five papers.
The entire publication process was seamlessly overseen by Prof. Shashi Prabha, Convener of the Publication Cell.The journal launch was attended by key university officials and teachers including Dr. Neeraj Sharma (Registrar, UoJ), Prof. Namrata Sharma, Dr. Ginny Dogra (Director, DIQA), Prof. Shallu Sehgal, Dr. Raj Sandhu, and Dr. Harleen Kour.
‘Researcher’ continues to serve as a vital academic touchstone for scholars and researchers, fostering a culture of high-quality research and robust knowledge dissemination within the region and beyond.
