JAMMU, FEBRUARY 18: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo extended her warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, especially Muslim community on the onset of holy month of Ramadhan.
In her message, the Minister said, “Holy month of Ramadhan is sacred period, offering an opportunity for spiritual and self-purification with renewed commitment to path of righteousness”. She added that the holy month reminds people of importance of patience, humility and compassion, encouraging them to strengthen bonds of brotherhood and harmony.
“Hope this blessed month would inspire individuals to dedicate themselves to acts of kindness, charity and service to humanity, particularly towards needy and marginalized sections of society”, Minister Sakeena stated.
The Minister also prayed for the acceptance of fasts and prayers of the faithful, as well as peace, progress and prosperity of entire Jammu and Kashmir.
