New Delhi, 9th February 2026: Education company PhysicsWallah (PW) has joined hands with District Administration, Varanasi, under the leadership of the District Magistrate and Chief Development Officer (CDO), to announce Sankalp-30. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between both entities to implement this academic program, which aims to strengthen learning outcomes within the existing public education ecosystem by supporting schools with academic support and mentoring.

The program will be conducted in an offline mode, focusing on IIT-JEE and NEET preparation, and PW’s Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will guide the selected students throughout their preparation journey, providing structured teaching, evaluation, and mentoring support. There is no financial consideration involved from either the participating students or other stakeholders, as PW is providing this educational support exclusively for the benefit of students.

As part of the academic programme, a three-stage screening process consisting of an Objective Examination, Subjective Assessment and Personal Interview have been developed. A total of 60 students, with 30 students each pursuing IIT-JEE and NEET, will be selected after clearing the screening process.

Amrit Chaubey, Director, PhysicsWallah (PW), said, “At PW, we are focused on improving learning outcomes for students while solving for accessibility and affordability. This initiative aligns with our aim towards quality education reaching every student, irrespective of socio-economic background, geography, or gender.

Shri Satyendra Kumar (IAS), District Magistrate, Varanasi, said, “In Varanasi, across Government and Government-aided schools, many students attend classes with discipline, aspiration, and promise. Their ambitions are no different from those of students anywhere in the country. We wanted to leverage PhysicsWallah’s expertise in developing academic systems, disciplined operational practices, and outcome-oriented pedagogy to ensure that opportunity reaches where talent already exists. Joining hands with PW will support us in taking a step towards improving merit, equity, and inclusion in education, and strengthen opportunities for students within the public education system.”

The initiative is designed exclusively for students of Government and Government-aided schools in Varanasi, aiming to support students from socially and economically weaker sections and taking a step towards improving educational equity, with an emphasis on academic excellence, student well-being, and mental health.
