As a part of Civic Action Programme (CAP) of J&k Police, today 13.06.2022 SSP Kathua Sh. R C Kotwal -JKPS flagged off 56 students of District Kathua for week long Bharat Darshan Tour -2022 alongwith an impressive functional ceremony held at DPL Kathua.The other officers who were present on the occasion were Addl. SP Kathua Sh. Suresh Kumar Chib-JKPS, DySP Headquarters Kathua Sh. Shammi Kumar JKPS, DySP DAR Kathua Sh. Sukhdev Singh alongwith other officers/officials were also graced the ocassion.

The group of 56 students alongwith 05 Caretakers selected from all over the  kathua district who started their tour from District Police Lines Kathua to Jammu and by Air from Jammu to Delhi, Delhi to Mumbai and back from Mumbai to Jammu.The tour has been organised by J&K Police under the Civic Action Programme and tour will be of 06 days long and the group will return on 18th of June 2022 of this month. Besides 05 caretakers from the department are accompanying the group, who will visit different places during their tour. These caretakers will ensure proper health care and safe journey of the students. Aim of this tour is to facilitate the children belonging to economically weaker section not only to visit other parts of India but to have an exposure that will benefit them to achieve goals in their life.  During their interaction the students will get knowledge of scientific developments and cultural heritage of the country. All the lodging boarding and transport facilities have been provided by District Police Kathua.

In addition to it, SSP Kathua advised the touring students to take full advantage of the opportunity cherish these memories through out their life.

General Public Parents and touring students applauded the efforts made by Kathua Police forsuch an initiative taken and thanked Kathua Police for providing them an opportunity to discover the vastness of the Nation.
