Udhampur Dec 03: Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Chenani,Mr. Ravinder Singh (Munsiff JMIC Chenani)organized an Awareness programme, on the Eve of“International Day of Persons with Disabilities” at Community health Centre, Chenani. The Theme of the day i.e, “Amplifying the leadership of persons with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future”The Resource person of the Programme was Adv. Mr. Balwan Singh Panel Lawyer. Speaking on the occasion Ad Balwan Singh highlighted the rights of persons with disabilities in the development of the society and enjoying living conditions equal to those of other citizens and share in the improved conditions resulting from socio economic development .He appraised people about their legal rights . He also stressed for the need for welfare and rehabilitation of physically challenged people so that they can also lead a dignified life.
Beside others Block Medical officer Chenani Dr, Sayeed Ishrat Bukhari and other doctors attended the programme , The aim of the programme was aware the people about their Health . PLV’s of TLSC assisted resource person on the occasion. The programme wasattended by the Staff and large number of Students.
