Jammu, February 6: As one of the deadliest earthquake has hit southern Turkey and northern Syria, parents of students studying in Turkey are worried about safety of their kids.
In this regard, Jammu and Kashmir Students’ Association has issued helpline numbers for students to contact.
They have asked students to contact on 9149500623, 6005493904, 6005682883, 6005590847 and 7006028306.
The JKSA has said that they are also coordinating with Ministry of External Affairs and also with Jammu and Kashmir government with for any kind of assistance.
Turkey was hit by the deadly earthquake and the death toll has reached over 1300 and thousands have been injured. Many are feared trapped inside the debris even as after shocks are hitting the affected zones on regular intervals.
