Eleven people were injured when a bus rolled down near Ganpat bridge on Doda-Batote national highway this morning.


The bus bearing registration number JK02D 7191 was on its way from Bhaderwah towards Jammu when the driver lost its control and rolled down.
Immediately after the accident, people and security personnel rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to GMC Doda where the condition of all injured passengers were said to be stable.


According to eye witnesses, the bus didn’t turn turtle when it rolled down and stopped midway without falling into river Chenab which saved the passengers.


Those who were injured were identified as Pushvinder singh S/o Sukh Dev R/o katra (driver), Susheel singh S/o Davinder singh R/o Ramnager udhampur, Muhammad Sabir S/o Ali Batt R/o Gundna, Doda, Ashok Kumar S/o Roshan lal R/o Jammu, Vista Devi W/ o Sanjay kumar R/o Bhaderwah, Arun kumar S/o Ashok kumar R/o Bhalla Bhaderwah, Naseema Begum W/o Gh Hadir R/o Bhalla Bhaderwah, Inder Kumar S/o Amar chand R/ o Bhaderwah, Neelma Devi W/o Dharminder singh R/o Udhampur, Hamanshu S/o Sanjay kumar R/o Udhampur and Kamlesha Devi W/o pritam singh R/o Bhaderwah.
