The TADA Court in Jammu has issued bailable warrant against Ruibya Sayeed , sister of PDP chief and former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, in the December 1989 kidnapping case.
The warrants were sued as Rubiya Sayeed, according to CBI lawyer Monika Kohli , did not present herself for the cross-examination .
Rubiya Had appeared as a witness to her own kidnapping ( December 08to 13, 1989) in the court on July 15. She had identified JKLF ‘s Yasin Malik as one of the kidnappers .
Five JKLF militants were set free exchange of Rubiya Sayeed in December 1989, which became a turning point in the start of militancy in Kashmir.
