A specific input generated by Jammu and Kashmir police led to a successful counter-terrorism operation in Hyderpora area in Srinagar resulting in killing of two terrorists on Monday evening, said Director General of Police Dilbag Singh .
The operation is on , the DGP said. The Hyderpra operation is important in the sense that it is taking place in the outskirts of Srinagar city, indicating that the police has developed its inputs in a meticulous manner , keeping terrorists pinned down where they were.
The J&K police have been relentlessly pursuing each an every lead about the whereabouts of the terrorists and their harbourers . These operations were intensified after some select civilian killings , and targeting of the policemen.
Dilbag Singh said “ Pakistan is mistaken that it could carry on with its nefarious designs in creating troubles in Kashmir . All its designs would be foiled by the police and other security agencies in complete synergy with one another.
