The Jammu and Kashmir Government has set in motion the process of inducting senior KAS officers into IAS as part of its move to end the stagnation in the administrative services .

More than 200 Jammu and Kashmir Jammu and Kashmir Administrative officers have been promoted in the last two-three months to end the stagnation , tweeted Commissioner/Secretary General Administrative Department Manoj Kumar Dwivedi on Monday morning .

He said : “ Stagnation of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service officers is being addressed. In last 2-3 months 200+ have got promoted. More in offing. “

“Their induction into IAS is under process.
“ In return” he exhorted that “ all should dedicate themselves in the service of people wherever they are posted.”
