There also was substantial decline in the infiltration . In 2019, the recorded number was 141 , while in 2020, it came down to just 32 . this is because of the high vigil of the army at the Line of control and also the way terrorists who attempted to infiltrate were neutralized.

The assessed terrorist strength too has come down from 421 in 2019, to 274 in 2020.
As per the army estimated, the number of terrorists at the launch pads has come down considerably because of the vigil of the Indian army that has scared the terrorists . Against the estimated figure of 520 to 556 in 2019, the number at these pads has come down to 294-336.
