The government has posted Niteshwar Kumar as new Principal Secretary to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha .
Kumar, 1996 batch IAS officer of UP cadre has been brought on deputation to the UT of J&K for a period of one year.
The order of his posting were issued late this evening.
This is the first major reshuffle in the Raj Bhavan secretariat since Manoj Sinha took over as LG on August 7.
Kumar will be replacing Bipul Pathak .
Pathak will continue to look after the departments of information technology.
