After ma gap of more than a year, The Government has finally restored 4G internet services in Udhampur district of Jammu region and Gandharbal district in the Kashmir from late this evening.
JK News Today was the first to break the news that government will restore 4G in Udhampur from Today.
The 4G internet has been started it two district each in Jammu and Kashmir division will be on trial basis till September 8, 2020.
The 4G network was snapped on August4/5 midnight last year hours before the Central Government revoked special status of Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 and Article 35 A and the announcement of the split of the erstwhile state into two Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh .
Last week , the government had submitted before the Supreme Court that it would restore 4G network in two districts- one each in Jammu and the Valley from August 16 on trial basis , as there were valid security concerns still in existence in the militancy-hit Kashmir.
