Jammu, March 21: Union Home Minister Amit Shah yet again reiterated reduction of more than 70 per cent in terrorism- related deaths during Modi Government.
He made this statement in Rajya Sabha while replying to on grants under ministry of home affairs on Friday.
He counted the achievements of the Modi Govt in J&K, especially after the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019.
Shah said there has been 70 percent reduction in deaths due to terrorism in J&K during Modi govt; terror incidents too fell sharply: Narendra Modi govt gave befitting reply to Pakistan with surgical, air strike within 10 days of attacks in Uri and Pulwama.
40,000 govt jobs provided during 2019-24 in J&K, 1.51 lakh self employment created, skilling clubs operational. Due to attractive industrial policy, Rs 12,000 cr investment on ground in j&K, MoUs worth Rs 1.1 lakh cr signed.
