Doda, February 9: One day newborn resuscitation workshop was conducted in Pediatric department of Associated hospital of Government Medical college (AH-GMC) Doda.
The workshop was conducted to train doctors, Nursing and paramedical staff in managing problems in first golden minute of life of baby.
GMC Doda principal Dr Pooja Vimesh, who was chief guest on the occasion, appreciated the participants in learning the newborn resuscitation skills actively and lauded the efforts of pediatrics department in taking initiatives in training all staff concerned with birth of baby.
Dr Ravi Bharti, General Secretary National Neonatalogy Forum J&K and Dr Yudhvir Singh Kotwal MS AH-GMC Doda were guests of the honours.
Dr. Subhash Singh Slathia, state academic coordinator and Dr Sunil Dutt Sharma, President national neonatology forum J&K in their telephonic message appreciated the efforts of course coordinator Dr Niraj Kumar Gupta and Co-instructors Dr Najmus Saqib, Dr RS Manhas, Dr Sangita Kotwal (Consultant Bhadarwah), Dr Tahir Rehmatullah and Dr Zahoor.
