Srinagar, February 14 : As already winter months witness unscheduled power cuts in Kashmir valley, the unprofessional approach of power development department in Bandipora is making lives of people difficult.
The PDD has failed to repair the damaged transformer of Bon-Mohalla Inderkoot village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district for the past several days, forcing the villagers to reel under darkness.
Talking to the JK News Today, locals said that for the last many days the line developed some technical snag leading to disruption in power supply due to which people are suffering badly. “We have approached the department several times but to no avail. Our children are not able to study as examinations would begin anytime now,” the locals said.
People are annoyed with the approach of the department and have asked the deputy commissioner and higher authorities of PDD to look into their issue and address the same as soon as possible.
