15 July 2026: A meeting of Panun Kashmir activists and the Office Bearers of the Kashmiri Hindu Cultural Welfare Trust, Bengaluru, was held at Bengaluru on 14 July 2026 in the presence of Shri Shailendra Aima, Senior Vice Chairman, Panun Kashmir. The meeting deliberated upon strengthening the organisational base of Panun Kashmir in South India and expanding the movement for the Reversal of Genocide of the Hindus of Kashmir and realization of the Homeland as envisaged under Margdarshan Resolution (1991).
The meeting unanimously resolved to constitute the Panun Kashmir South India Unit and adopted the following organisational structure:
- Shri R. K. Mattoo – National Coordinator, Panun Kashmir
- Shri Pranesh Nagari – Coordinator, South India
- Shri Arvind Waza – Coordinator, Bengaluru
- Shri Inder Jee Bhat – Media Coordinator
The meeting also unanimously constituted the Working Group of the Panun Kashmir Bengaluru Unit, comprising Shri Satish Sher, Shri Veerender Kaw, Shri B. B. Mattoo, Shri T. K. Sadhu, Shri Bharat Rawal, Shri Rajender Zutshi and Shri Ramesh Sazawal.
A landmark decision of the meeting was the unanimous acceptance by Shri R. K. Mattoo, Chairman of the Kashmiri Hindu Cultural Welfare Trust, Bengaluru, of the responsibility as National Coordinator, Panun Kashmir. Shri Mattoo shall work under the Chairmanship of Dr. Ajay Chrungoo, Chairman, Panun Kashmir, to strengthen the organisation and expand its national outreach.
The meeting unanimously reaffirmed its commitment to the Concept of Reversal of Genocide and the Margdarshan Resolution (1991) as the guiding ideological framework of Panun Kashmir. It resolved to intensify the movement for the recognition of the genocide of the indigenous Hindus of Kashmir and for the establishment of the Panun Kashmir Homeland as envisaged in the Margdarshan Resolution.
The participants expressed confidence that the constitution of the South India Unit and the assumption of national responsibility by Shri R. K. Mattoo would considerably strengthen the organisational reach of Panun Kashmir and reinforce its commitment to the cause of justice, national recognition, and the Reversal of Genocide of the indigenous Hindus of Kashmir.
