Today, on 29.09.2026 information was received from reliable sources that HC Abdesh Kumar of CISF, deployed at the SEWA-2 Hydroelectric Project, Mashka, District Kathua, allegedly opened fire with his service weapon on fellow CISF personnel, resulting in the deaths of the following four personnel:
1 Assistant Commandant Ankit Kumar Pandey (Company Commander)
2 SI Lakshman Singh
3 CT Sanjeev Kumar
4 CT Mohd. Rafiqmation was received from reliable sources that HC Abdesh Kumar of CISF, deployed at the SEWA-2 Hydroelectric Project, Mashka, District Kathua, allegedly opened fire with his service weapon on fellow CISF personnel, resulting in the deaths of the following four personnel:
