Srinagar, October 13:
Following the discussion of Dr.Jitendra Singh Minister of State (MOS) in PMO with the Lt. Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha to ease the movement of passengers entering from Lakhanpur, the government has ordered deployment of two KAS officers ensure fast testing and smooth flow of entry and exit of vehicles.
The Lt. Governor had assured immediate redressal of the issue to the satisfaction of the people, following which the order was issued.
Talat Parvez Rohella, KAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department, shal, in addition to his Own duties, be the overall incharge at Lakhanpur to oversee the movement of passengers, ensure fast testing and smooth flow of entry & exit of vehicles. Arun Kumar Manhas, KAS, Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, in addition to his own duties, shall assist Talat Parvez Rohelia, KAS. The officers shall remain stationed at Lakhanpur, with immediate effect, till further orders.
