Six school students were hit by a speeding Maruti car driven by a drunk driver in Shastri Nagar area today.
All these 11th class students belong to Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar Jammu. Four of them are shifted to GMC in critical condition while two are undergoing treatment at Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar.
Among injured are five are girls and a boy.
The police said that the driver of the car has fled from the spot. A case has been registered and hunt launched for the driver.
