A free medical camp was organized BSF at border village Paharpur as a part of series of efforts made by BSF to assist and foster a close bond with Border population. Sh Satyendra Giri , Comdt BSF inaugurated the medical camp.
A team of BSF doctors, Dr. Rekha Varma, SMO, Dr. Gagandeep Singh, AC/MO, Dr Gurbaj Singh, AC/MO of BSF, carried out medical check up of villagers of bordering area and medicines were also distributed to them. A large number of elderly besides youth and kids also turned up to take the benefit of the medical Camp through this Civic Action programme.
On this occasion Sh Satyendra Giri, Comdt BSF reiterated that BSF is fully committed for assistance to the local people, specially at bordering areas.
During the camp a total of 253 local Civilians having different ailments were treated and provided with medicines by the BSF which was heartily appreciated by local population.
