Wing Commmander Hilal Ahmed Rather is the first pilot to fly Rafale — a latest arm of Indian Air Force acquired from France
Wing Commander Rather belongs to Anantnag in south Kashmir and is alumini Sainik School Presently he is Indian Defence Attaché in Paris France. He ensured its quick delivery and weaponised it as per Indian conditions.
He won Sword of honour in NDA when he passed out and is presently one of finest fighter pilot of India
