Our mission is clear — to bring prosperity, development, and stability to J&K: Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari reaffirms party’s core vision
JK News Day
Srinagar, May 6: A large number of social and political activists from the Central Shalteng Assembly constituency on Wednesday joined Apni Party during a special event held at the party headquarters in Srinagar.
On this occasion, Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and other senior leaders extended a warm welcome to the new entrants.
Addressing the gathering, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari expressed deep satisfaction over the joining of the activists.
He said their move to become part of the Apni Party was not merely a political step, but a strong indication that the party’s vision and policies are resonating with the people.
He went on to say, “Although Apni Party did not win the Assembly elections in 2024, the fact remains that people are steadily coming closer to us. They believe in our approach, which is rooted in truth, transparency, and integrity. With each passing day, our support base is expanding. This clearly shows that our message, our commitment, and our honest politics are reaching people’s hearts.”
Reaffirming the party’s long-term commitment, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari emphasised that Apni Party will continue to work tirelessly for peace, prosperity, and sustainable development in Jammu and Kashmir.
He assured that the party remains focused on building a secure and hopeful future, especially for the younger generation.
“We are fully committed to shaping a better tomorrow for our youth and the generations to come. Our mission is clear — to bring prosperity, development, and stability to Jammu and Kashmir,” he said, adding, “For decades, our youth have witnessed violence, loss, and hardship. They have seen prisons, pain, and uncertainty. This must change. We want to guide our young people toward a future filled with opportunity, dignity, and growth.”
He further added that for the past 30 years, Jammu and Kashmir has largely remained in the headlines for the wrong reasons. However, the Apni Party envisions a different narrative — one where the region gains recognition for its development, achievements, and positive transformation.
“It is time to rewrite our story. We want Jammu and Kashmir to be known for its progress, its success, and the strength of its people. That is the future we are committed to building,” Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said.
